Frequently asked questions
What counts as a row?
Each record created or updated in Airtable counts as one row. Manual uploads allow up to 2,000 rows per file across all plans. Connector imports have separate per-run and monthly limits that vary by plan. Rows that fail validation or are skipped during review do not count against your limit.
What are connectors?
Connectors link Impora to your cloud storage (SharePoint, OneDrive, or Google Drive). Once connected, files dropped in a monitored folder are automatically picked up, validated against your Airtable schema, and imported. You can also schedule exports from Airtable back to your cloud folder.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period, so you keep full access until then.
What happens if I hit my row limit?
Manual uploads are capped at 2,000 rows per file. If your file is larger, you will see a warning before the import runs. Connector imports have per-run limits (50,000 on Pro, 100,000 on Business) and monthly limits (500,000 on Pro, unlimited on Business). If you reach a connector monthly cap, further connector imports are paused until the next billing cycle.
What if my file has more than 2,000 rows?
The 2,000-row limit applies to manual uploads only. If you regularly import larger files, connect a cloud folder instead. Connector imports handle up to 50,000 rows per run on Pro and 100,000 on Business. Just drop your file in the connected folder and Impora processes it automatically with the higher limit.
Do external uploaders need an Airtable account?
No. Anyone with your upload link can submit data through the branded intake flow. They don't need an Airtable account, an Impora login, or anything installed.
Can I embed the upload flow on my own website?
Yes, on Pro and Business plans. You get an embed widget you can drop into any webpage or app. Your Airtable base stays completely hidden from uploaders.

Does Impora store my Airtable data?
Uploaded files are processed to run validation and import, retained securely for up to 30 days for troubleshooting and audit purposes, then purged according to the retention policy. Impora only uses your Airtable token to perform the actions you authorise.
